Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of CleanSift. By downloading or using the app, you agree to them. If you subscribe to CleanSift Pro, Apple's standard terms also apply.

The app

CleanSift is an on-device photo-cleanup utility for iPhone. It analyzes your photo library locally and suggests items to review. You remain in control of your library at all times: CleanSift never deletes anything without your explicit approval.

Your responsibilities

  • Review CleanSift's recommendations before approving a cleanup. Suggestions are aids, not commands.
  • Use the app only with a photo library you own or are authorized to manage.
  • Do not attempt to reverse engineer, resell, or misuse the app or its bundled components.

Deletion and recovery

When you approve a cleanup, CleanSift moves items to Apple's Recently Deleted album. Photos normally keeps them there for up to 30 days unless you remove them sooner, and Apple controls recovery and permanent removal. CleanSift cannot recover photos that Photos has permanently removed, and it does not create separate backups. Keep your own backup (for example, iCloud Photos or a computer) of anything important.

CleanSift Pro subscriptions and Lifetime

  • CleanSift offers a free tier and CleanSift Pro. Pro is available as an auto-renewing monthly or annual subscription, or as a one-time non-consumable Lifetime purchase.
  • Subscriptions are billed to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase and renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • You can manage or cancel a subscription in iOS Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
  • The Lifetime unlock is a single payment for the current Pro feature set and does not renew.
  • Prices are shown in the App Store in your local currency before purchase and may vary by region.

Refunds

Purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled by Apple under the App Store terms; Novarynix cannot issue refunds directly. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

CleanSift is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. Photo recognition is probabilistic and may occasionally misclassify an item, which is why you review before deleting. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Novarynix is not liable for lost photos, lost data, or other damages arising from use of the app, including any deletion you approve. Your use of Apple's Recently Deleted recovery window and your own backups are your safeguards.

Changes

We may update these terms as the app evolves. Material changes will be posted at this URL with a new effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
